Stand up to cancer

So, tonight I have donated £5 to cancer research thanks to stand up to cancer. I am lucky enough not to have been affected by cancer (not myself, friends or family) and hope that doesn't change. Thankful for everything I have!

True blood

Seriously addicted to the true blood book series. I would recommend this series to anyone (tv series isn't that bad either!) who likes a good read. They're £6.99 new but I've bought most of mine so far off eBay for around £2 each.

Baking with blackberries

I decided to bake a cake last Thursday to take to work for my colleagues the next day but it turned out to be a complete disaster. First the juice from the blackberries turned the cake mix grey, then I opened the oven door too early and the cake went flat. The end result is below, needless to say, I won't be baking with blackberries again for a while!
